Radhika Jenson has been studying and practicing Ayurveda and yoga for over two decades. She completed Ayurvedic Yoga and Panchakarma practitioner training in New Delhi and Ayurvedic Health Educator certification through the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She completed Panchakarma internships in Bangalore in 2005 and a three-year clinical internship (2006–2009) under Dr. Dharmesh Kubendiran (BAMS, PHD).
From 2002–2014, Radhika helped develop Ayurvedic spa therapies, practitioner training programs, and wellness products at the Salt Spring Spa Resort. She later co-founded the Samya Ayurveda Clinic & Spa and Samya Yoga studio on Salt Spring Island.
At Samya Spa, Radhika offers Ayurvedic consultations, Ayurvedic beauty therapies, traditional herbal oil and paste treatments, wellness bodywork, and yoga-based practices including pranayama and meditation. She is known for integrating traditional Ayurvedic therapies with modern spa care in a practical and accessible way.

Marielle is a compassionate spa therapist and a current RMT student at WCCMT. She brings a gentle, grounded presence to her treatments, with deep respect for the healing power of touch. Guided by a passion for fitness, recovery, and holistic wellness, Marielle creates a nurturing space where clients can reconnect and restore balance. Her dedicated study of anatomy and physiology supports an intuitive approach that honors each body’s unique needs. Her work is more than a practice—it is a calling, and an invitation to return to oneself. Massage runs in her blood—she carries the spirit of healing from her Filipino grandfather, a traditional healer whose nurturing practice first inspired her path.

Originally from India, Arshdeep has spent over 15 years working as a Spa Therapist and Esthetician and helping people feel relaxed, cared for, and confident in their own skin. She has trained in advanced esthetics and loves combining her skills with natural, holistic methods to bring out each person’s unique beauty. Arshdeep’s favourite part of her practice is nurturing clients and seeing them feeling lighter and happier after every service.

Originally from China and Hong Kong, Jodie is certified in a variety of types of massage, including relaxation, deep tissue, hot stone and reflexology. She has spent more than the past ten years taking care of clients. Jodie believes deeply in natural holistic methods for healing and has a passion for learning new methods of treatment.

Originally from Chile, Romina has lived in Canada for the past 5 years. In Chile, Romina was certified in massage therapy and holds a diploma in physiotherapy, she has provided excellent bodywork for over 10 years, working in spas, clinics and medical centres with a range of clients from pregnant women to people with disabilities. She always considers each person unique and special and is open to listening and understanding each person’s situation and needs during sessions.

Khristel welcomes guests with friendly warmth when they arrive at Samya Spa. She brings kindness, creativity, and professionalism to her role as a receptionist on the team. Originally from the Philippines, Khristel developed her customer service skills in Canada, where she learned the value of personalized care and attentive service. Her friendly demeanor and organizational abilities ensure that each guest feels truly seen and appreciated from the moment they step through the door. With a degree in Digital Arts and a diploma in Marketing, Khristel combines an eye for detail with effective communication skills, qualities that help her create a smooth and enjoyable experience for every client.

Julia is a friendly and attentive member of the Samya Spa team, known for creating a positive and welcoming experience for every guest. Shaughn Jenson has been studying and practicing Ayurveda and yoga for over two decades. In 2001, he completed his Certificate of Yoga Education at Gujarat Ayurved University in Jamnagar, India, and in 2003, Panchakarma practitioner training at the Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga & Ayurveda in Boulder, Colorado. He continued Advanced Ayurveda Practitioner Certification at the Ayurvedic Academy in Seattle and completed clinical internships in Bangalore and Chennai, India, followed by a three-year clinical internship (2006–2009) under Dr. Dharmesh Kubendiran (BAMS, PHD).

Radhika originates from the South Indian settlements of the Fiji Islands, where Ayurvedic lifestyle traditions were part of daily life. Raised within this environment, she developed an early interest in herbal medicine and traditional wellness practices.
In 2003, Radhika continued her studies in Kathmandu, Nepal, where she completed Thai Massage training. She later completed Ayurvedic Yoga training and received a Diploma as an Ayurvedic Pancha Karma Practitioner at the Ayur Academy of Natural Beauty in New Delhi, India in 2004. In 2006, she was certified as an Ayurvedic Health Educator through the American Institute of Vedic Studies.
Radhika completed a Panchakarma internship at the Art of Living Ashram Pancha Karma Centre in Bangalore, India in 2005. From 2006–2009, she completed a clinical internship at the Samya Ayurveda Clinic & Spa at the Salt Spring Spa Resort under the guidance of Dr. Dharmesh Kubendiran (BAMS, PHD).
She has also completed additional training in spa and beauty therapies.
From 2006–2014, at the Samya Ayurveda Clinic & Spa at the Salt Spring Spa Resort, Radhika helped teach, develop, and formulate Ayurvedic spa therapies, practitioner training programs, and a range of organic Ayurvedic wellness and beauty products in collaboration with Dr. Dharmesh Kubendiran and Shaughn Jenson.
From 2015–2020, Radhika and Shaughn established and operated the Samya Ayurveda Clinic & Spa and Samya Yoga studio in Ganges, Salt Spring Island.

In 2006, Shaughn established Samya Ayurveda and began developing Ayurvedic spa therapies, practitioner training programs, and wellness products in collaboration with Dr. Dharmesh Kubendiran and Radhika Jenson.
From 2002–2014, he designed treatment protocols, spa menus, and practitioner training manuals for Ayurvedic and spa therapies offered at the Salt Spring Spa Resort, where early Ayurvedic spa treatments were introduced in Western Canada.
In 2014, Shaughn was invited to present at the International Congress on Renaissance in Sports Medicine in Tamil Nadu, India. His paper, Revival of Ancient Ayurvedic & Yogic Applications in Modern Sports Medicine & Opportunities for Indian Health Professionals in Canada, was published by the National College of Tamil Nadu.
From 2015–2020, Shaughn and Radhika established and operated the Samya Ayurveda Clinic & Spa and Samya Yoga studio in Ganges, Salt Spring Island.
