Flowing Oil & Milk Therapies

SHIRODHARA "shear-o-dara" (flowing herbal oil on the forehead)

Shirodhara is a beautiful therapy which awakens the mind and lulls the entire body into a state of calmness. Massage and stimulation of the Marma points of the head, neck and shoulders is followed by a continuous warm stream of organic herbal oils poured on and across the forehead. Shirodhara quiets the mind, releases stress and induces a profound sense of tranquility. Service time includes shower.

KSHEERADHARA "kshee-ra-dara" (flowing herbal milk on the forehead)

Ksheeradhara is a variation of Shirodhara that uses warm herbal cow’s or coconut milk instead of oil. Following a relaxing massage of the Marma points on the head, neck, and shoulders, a stream of herbal milk infused with Ayurvedic herbs flows across the forehead. This therapy is specifically designed to pacify Pitta imbalances, cooling excess heat and anger, reducing stress, and promoting deep calmness. Service time includes shower.

SARVANGADHARA "sar-vun-ga-dara" (flowing oil on the body)

In Sarvangadhara; also known as Pizhichil, Kayaseka or Thailadhara, litres of warm organic oils are poured and massaged all over body. This therapy begins with an experienced therapist using one hand to pour the warm oil while massaging with the other, bringing the entire body into a state of fulfillment and bliss. Because of the very oily nature of this therapy, there is minimal draping thus disposable underwear is provided. Service time includes shower.

SARVANGA KSHEERADHARA "sar-vun-ga ksheer-ra-dara" (flowing herbal milk on the body)

Sarvanga Ksheeradhra, is a luxurious therapy in which warm herbal cow's or coconut milk is poured and massaged over the entire body. This therapy begins with warm organic herbal Samya Dosha Oil massaged on the head. Followed by the whole body massaged and bathed in litres of warm Ayurvedic herbal milk. Because of the very oily nature of this therapy, there is minimal draping thus disposable underwear is provided. Service time includes shower.
