The first Samya Spa was established at a resort on Salt Spring Island, where the founders began offering Ayurveda services in 2002, making it the first Ayurvedic destination spa in Canada. In 2005, Samya Ayurveda’s first founder was registered by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association at one of their first conferences and Samya Ayurveda began providing Ayurveda training and a line of herbal and beauty products. Samya Ayurveda Inc. was officially incorporated in 2014, and the first independent Samya Spa opened its doors in 2015.
