Soundarya Vardhani literally means “increasing and prolonging beauty”. The goal of the Ayurveda facial is to cleanse, tone, nourish, rejuvenate and moisturize the skin while creating a deep experience of calm in both mind and body which radiates from the face.

After a skin analysis, organic products are tailored to your Dosha skin type and to address any existing skin conditions. This holistic therapy begins with the deep cleansing and exfoliating effects of organic flours and Ayurvedic herbs. After a gentle toning an Ayurvedic facial massage activates deep centers of the brain, Chakras, Nadis (energy channels), Marma (vital) and reflex points and facial circulation to indulge your entire self in nourishment. Massage strokes move lymph away from the face while lifting and stimulating skin, smoothing out the appearance of wrinkles. This initiates the flow of fresh blood and nutrients to the deep layers of your skin. Muscle tensions in the neck, shoulders and face are released and energy is rebalanced throughout the body. This therapy begins with a light facial massage, emphasizing the Marma points around the eyes and lymph nodes. Ayurveda massage for women has always included extensive work on the breast area. This is done not only as a means to beautify the breast, encourage a delightful shape and for greater comfort but also for deeper therapeutic reasons. Ayurveda, like a number of healing traditions teaches that massage over and around breast tissue improves or helps maintain health in all parts of female reproductive tissue as well as assists in hormonal balancing. Breast massage has been widely used in spas and massage therapy, especially in India and Asia, as a means of healthy lymphatic drainage, breast growth promotion and as a post operative therapy for women who have undergone mastectomies, breast surgery or other trauma to the breast area, since it helps break down scar tissues while stimulating healing and tissue regeneration.
